In 2007, the vision of Doug Mitchell, MD, MBA, and Hung Davis, MD, CMD became a reality with the creation of MDICS. Both of these board-certified internal medicine physicians have achieved success by exceeding the challenges of providing in-patient hospitalist care. Their strong backgrounds enable MDICS to strategically assign lead physicians, hospitalists and other healthcare providers in each client hospital and post-acute care setting based on their experience, credentials and match to the individual needs, goals and culture of each community.

MDICS is a physician-owned and physician-managed company employing over 300 health care workers (physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and office staff). The MDICS Leadership team is comprised of experienced physicians and health care industry professionals.
